Technical data: HBSC2
The HBSC2 is a Level Switch designed for detecting liquid CO2 in refrigeration systems. It can also be used to detect butane, isobutane, and propane. The sensor is typically installed in or on the receiver but can be placed in other locations where level indication is required. Its unique measurement principle and robust construction allow it to endure high pressure and low refrigerant temperatures, making it suitable for transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems.
Key features
- Liquid temperature range: Operate across a temperature range of -40°C to 50°C (-40°F to 122°F).
- Pressure tolerance: Rated for pressures up to 150 bar (2175 psi).
- Power supply: The switch operates on a 24 V AC/DC power supply.
- Split design: Simplifies installation and diagnostics; electronic parts can be removed with two screws.
- LED indicators: Provides a clear visual signal when refrigerant is detected, improving monitoring and safety.
