WHAT IS A COOKIE?

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small data or text file stored on your computer, tablet, smartphone or other device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a website to recognise a device and may store information about settings, preferences and use of the website.

Most websites use cookies. Some cookies are required to provide essential website functions. If you delete or block cookies, advertisements may become less relevant and certain website features or content may not function correctly.

A cookie cannot spread computer viruses or other harmful programs or code.

Some cookies are stored only while your browser is open. These are known as session cookies. Other cookies remain on your device for a defined period and are known as persistent cookies. When you return to a website, a persistent cookie may be renewed, depending on its configuration.

Cookies set by parties other than the website owner are known as third-party cookies. These may support functions such as analytics, embedded content, forms, social-media features and advertising.

OUR USE OF COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We and our service providers use server logs, cookies, tags, software development kits, tracking pixels and similar technologies. In this policy, these technologies are collectively referred to as "cookies" where appropriate.

We use these technologies to operate and secure the website, understand how it is used, remember browsing preferences and, where you have consented, provide and measure more relevant content and marketing.

The technologies we may use include:

- Web server logs: Files in which activity on the website is recorded.

- Software development kits: Sets of tools or code embedded in applications or software to enable functions and, where relevant, allow service providers to collect information about user interaction.

Cookies may enable us to recognise a device, store preferences and settings, understand which pages have been visited, improve the user experience, measure content and advertising, perform analytics and support security and administrative functions.

- Tracking pixels: Small electronic tags, sometimes called web beacons or clear GIFs, which may be embedded in websites, online advertisements or emails. They can collect information such as advertisement impressions, clicks and email opens, measure the effectiveness of content and campaigns and interact with cookies stored on a device.

As we adopt additional technologies, we may collect information through other methods in accordance with this Cookie Policy and applicable law.

Cookies are generally not retained for longer than 12 months. The expiry period may be calculated from the most recent visit to the website, meaning that a cookie may be renewed when you return. When a cookie expires, it is automatically deleted unless it has been renewed.

For more information about your rights and the retention of personal data, please see our Data Protection Notice:
https://www.hbproducts.dk/en/about/data-protection-notice

WITHDRAWAL, DELETION AND SUPPRESSION

If you withdraw cookie or marketing consent, HB Products will stop the relevant consent-based processing.

Where applicable, optional cookies will be blocked or removed through the website's consent-management mechanism. You may also delete cookies directly through your browser settings.

For marketing data, HB Products will update or suppress the relevant permissions and records in HubSpot, our CRM and marketing platform, and in other relevant systems. This ensures that you no longer receive communications based on the withdrawn consent.

Withdrawal of marketing consent does not necessarily require deletion of every record relating to you. HB Products may retain limited information where necessary to document the consent previously given, respect your opt-out preference, fulfil contractual or legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

CHANGES TO THIS COOKIE POLICY

HB Products may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our website, cookie use, marketing setup, service providers or applicable legal requirements.

The current version and date of the latest update will be stated at the beginning of the policy.
