CO2 in industrial refrigeration systems
Climate challenges and the F-Gas Regulation have prompted an increased focus on replacing industrial refrigerants with more environmentally-friendly, natural alternatives. CO2 has thus gained ground as a refrigerant with low global warming potential (GWP) that is also safe to use in industrial systems or in the food industry.
CO2 is often used in industrial refrigeration systems as a low temperature refrigerant or as a secondary refrigerant in cascade systems.
HB Products has over 25 years of experience in the development of sensors for the control and optimisation of CO2 refrigeration systems and offers a wide selection of products, for example for level monitoring and evaporator control.

Sensors from HB Products can be installed on transcritical CO2 refrigeration systems here
